Thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part in the Irish Runner 5 Mile in Phoenix Park on Sunday, June 21st, 2026.
It was a clear and pleasant summer morning, providing the perfect setting for the second race of the 2026 Athletics Ireland Race Series. Liffey Valley AC athletes once again delivered a series of excellent performances, with both the men's and women's teams securing an outstanding 5th place in the Championship standings.
A special congratulations goes to Geoffrey Alexandre, who claimed the silver medal in the M35 Championship category. This marks his fifth Championship medal since April, an exceptional achievement that highlights his remarkable consistency throughout the season.
Congratulations also to Path, who earned the bronze medal in his Championship category, adding another podium finish for the club.
Well done to every Liffey Valley AC athlete who represented the club. Your commitment, teamwork, and determination continue to make the club proud. 🔵🟡
