Streets of Kilkenny 5km

The annual Streets of Kilkenny 5k is a popular race held on Holy Thursday evening, 2nd April. Taking in a two-lap circuit around the medieval city, it is a fast flat course with a carnival atmosphere. Street closures and supporter areas with live music added to the occasion. A quality field of 924 runners competed.

Strong racing from the trio, with Mollie O’Donnell finishing in 17:55 for 128th place overall and 17th among 435 women (17th of 146 in the W35 category). Elle O’Driscoll crossed the line in 18:03 for 134th place overall and 18th among 435 women (18th of 146 in the W35 category). Both athletes finished inside the top 20 women in a quality field 💪 👏
