Well done to all our athletes who took part in the
Dublin 5k Novice Road Championships in Tallaght, Co. Dublin
on Sunday 17th March 2026 🏃♂️🏃♀️, St. Patrick’s Day.
We had an excellent turnout with 29 Liffey Valley A.C. runners
competing in a very strong field of 660 athletes 👏
Leading the way for the club were our Top 3 Men 💪:
Geoffrey Alexandre (17th - 16:18)
Richard Finegan (43rd - 17:26)
Jason Mc Glone (84th - 18:31)
On the women’s side, our Top 3 Women 🌟 were
Siobhan Nugent (209th - 20:47)
Dearbhaile Rooney (210th - 20:47)
Nikki Lynch (232nd - 21:05)
There were also fantastic age category performances 👏:
Eddie McGrath secured 3rd place in M55 🥉
Margaret O’Friel took 3rd place in F60 🥉
Pat Collins led the way with an outstanding
1st place in M70 🥇, followed by
Joe Cooper in 3rd place 🥉.
At the top of the field, the race winners in the men’s were
