Race 3 marked a major reshuffle at the top of the leaderboard π. While early leaders from Race 2 remain very much in contention, several consistent performers surged ahead by racing again and accumulating valuable points.
π Big Movers After Race 3: Paul Balfe moved into the overall lead through consistency and strong cumulative scoring, while Simon Monds climbed firmly into 2nd place thanks to another podium level performance πͺ. Donal Iremonger continues to build momentum, moving into the top three with steady results across races. With more races ahead, the battle is far from over.

After three races, the Winter League is wide open π. The standings clearly show that consistent participation is just as important as standout performances.
The next race in the Winter League will be the Cross Country Club Championships, featuring a 10km race for Men and a 5km race for Women, taking place on Sunday 22/02/2026 at 11:30am. This is a very important event for the club, as we will be presenting the Nick Davis Perpetual Cup on the day π. In addition, every runner who takes part will receive 50 points, making this a key opportunity for all athletes to boost their Winter League standings.
