National 10 Mile Road Championships - Individual Gold and Team Silver Medals for LVAC

Congratulations to our Senior Men who finshed second Senior Team at the National 10 Mile Road Championships held in the Phoenix Park on a soggy wet July morning. Lead home by🥈Pierce Geoghegan (54.01 new PB) in 15th place,🥈Geoffrey Alexandre (56.40 new PB) in 26th,and 🥇Sergey Dolgy (57.18) in 31st for a combined team time of 02.47.59 which was 5.26 mins behind the winning club Donore Harriers AC and 46 seconds ahead of Leevale AC.
Our Womens +35 Team put in a superb performance to finish 5th Team.
Congratulations also to🥇Pat Collins winning the All Ireland M75 title to add the his 5 Mile title.
Hardly an ideal day for racing in the Phoenix Park with 10 Liffey Valley AC athletes braving the conditions, a few words from Orla Gordon for the amazing support provided by LVAC Teammates around the course.
