Lea Fulcher was first LVAC athlete home in the 25th running of the Gerry Farnan XC Race. Lea (61), Paul Balfe (95), Sean Dowling (101) and Paul Power (121) completed the team who finished 14th Team.
The race was won by Mark Christie of Mullingar Harriers, with Mark Kennealy of Clonliffe Harriers in 2nd place. Kennealy would later finish first Irish Athlete in 8th place at the 2009 European Cross Country Championships in Santry in December.
