Liffey Valley had another fantastic performance, begin placed 3rd out of all Senior teams in the Irish Runner 5 mile race in Phoenix Park.

With over 30000 entrants it is billed by the organisers as the biggest event of its kind in the world. Liffey Valley club members were stationed from Sandymount Avenue to the finish and so were on-hand to provide help and encouragement to the runners as they neared the end of the hard slog.
read moreThe National 5K Road Championships was held in conjunction with the Irish Runner 5K. 1100 runners took part in this event which marks the first race in the Athletics Ireland Race Series. It was a fine day for a race, with a bit of a breeze and a chill but nothing to stop our runners achiving some of their all time best results.
